A free workshop on renewable energy for homeowners is scheduled for 9 to 10:30 a.m. June 3, in Enterprise.

The workshop will cover technologies for using "home grown" energy to stabilize energy costs and promote energy independence.

"Renewable energy makes sense for so many reasons," says Wynne Auld, Project Manager with Renewable Energy Solutions LLC.

"There are low cost, high return opportunities which can shave significant energy expenses out of your budget. And there are resources available to help homeowners make their projects a reality."

Renewable Energy Solutions LLC and the Energy Trust of Oregon sponsor the workshop.

It will be held at the Renewable Energy Solutions conference room in the Wallowa Resources Stewardship Center, 401 NE 1st Street, Enterprise.

For more information contact Auld at 541-426-4100.
