The Rotary Club of Wallowa County is currently seeking students from grade 9 through college to take part in its Short Term Exchange Program.

In this program a Walllowa County student spends four weeks with a family in another country of their choice. After four weeks that family will send a student of the same gender back with the student they hosted for a four week stay in Wallowa County (or vice versa).

The experience gives a local student a taste of family life in another country and the opportunity to share his/her home with a host brother or sister.

The eight-week exchange period runs from about mid-June through late August.

For more information, contact Nancy Ingram, 426-4529, or Jeff Courtney, co-chairs of the Rotary Youth Exchange program.
