Safeway in Enterprise will once again team up with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) in the fight against neuromuscular diseases. For the second year, participating Safeway stores will offer customers the chance to help MDA.

From Aug. 1 to Sept. 10, donating customers will write their name on mobiles to be displayed throughout the store. The money raised during this promotion will help fund research, local programs and services and send area youth with limited mobility to MDA Summer Camp. Last year's Safeway-MDA "Mobile" campaign raised over $30,000 for MDA in Oregon.

The event culminates on Sept. 10, the weekend after the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon airs throughout the country during Labor Day Weekend.
