Enterprise High School teacher Ron Osterloh, 54, was arraigned on two counts of sexual abuse-3 last Wednesday morning, April 7, before Circuit Court Judge Russell West. The maximum fine for the Class A misdemeanor charge is one year in jail and a fine of $6,500 for each count.

The charges stem from an alleged "inappropriate touching" incident of an EHS student in late February. The incident reportedly did not take place on school grounds.

At the arraignment Osterloh was represented by Baker City attorney J. Robert Moon who attended via teleconferencing.

Osterloh was instructed to have no contact with the alleged victim, two named witnesses or any contact with anyone under 18.

Though Moon asked for more time, Judge West stated that a plea will be made Wednesday, April 28, at 10:15 a.m. All plea negotiations are to be finalized prior to that date.
