Sunday marks the kick-off for The Crossing's version of the national "40 Days of Purpose" campaign.

The campaign, based on the best selling book "A Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren, involves small group book studies, Sunday services, and special events all revolving around the question "What on Earth am I here for?"

The Crossing meets in the OK Theater each Sunday at 10 a.m. and offers an alternative type of service teaching evangelical Christian principles.

During the weeks between Jan. 30 and March 13 anyone interested in joining in on this study are invited to attend. The kick-off Sunday starts with a free pancake breakfast in the "hunting camp" outside the OK Theater at 9 a.m., followed by a service at 10 a.m.

Books and information regarding available small groups and special events will be available. Newcomers are welcome all throughout the campaign.
