Three Wallowa County men were arrested Aug. 27 and charged with the burglary of items from a residence at the 60000 block of Pollock Road at the southern end of Wallowa Lake.

Arrested on charges of burglary I, conspiracy to commit burglary I, theft II and criminal mischief II were Samuel Alexis Wise, 20, of Joseph, Christopher Douglas Hudson, 20, of Enterprise and Brandon Michael Rowland, 17, of Joseph. Wise was also charged with giving false information to police officers and arrested on an outstanding Wallowa County warrant.

The Wallowa County Sheriff's Office and Oregon State Police responded to a 7:30 p.m. burglary call and stopped a pickup matching the description of the suspect vehicle at 304 W. Alder Street in Joseph. The victim of the burglary had provided the description of items stolen from his premises and items matching that description were found in the suspect pickup.

A witness to the burglary also provided suspect descriptions that matched the occupants of the pickup, said the press release.
