The Bowlby Arts Group is raising funds to cover the rental and heating of Stage One, the small dance studio/meeting space in the EM&M building at 117 East Main Street in Enterprise.

The space has been used for: dance performances, dance and exercise classes, photography classes, music concerts, art shows, lectures, meetings and parties.

A recent meeting held there was the Community Health Care Forum which drew more than 75 people. The Bowlby Arts Group manages the space.

In order for the non-profit group to keep the doors open, they need to supplement their rental fees with a little fundraising, said group member Marya Nowakowski.

A fundraiser concert is planned for Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. Singer/songwriters Janis Carper, Carolyn Lochert and Rodd Ambroson will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. and refreshments will be available. Suggested donation for the concert is $10, additional donations are also needed to help pay the rent and heat.
