Tiny horsewoman winning big awards

Standing in at 4' 10" tall and weighing well less than 100 pounds is Providence Academy freshman Anna Hostetter who has completed an impressive first year of dressage competition, bringing home several regional awards with the help of her 5-year-old Welsh Cob Section C horse, Gallod Rhosyn Goch.

Judged on a national scale on year-end average criteria for competing in a minimum of four accredited shows, Hostetter ranked 29th in the nation from among some 500 to 600 competitors in the juniors at training level class. Her year-end average was 66.811 percent.
