The time has been set for June 21, 2003, at 7 p.m. at the Enterprise Community Congregational Church for the wedding of Shannon Elizabeth Payden and Bryan Weston Wiedeman, both currently residents of North Carolina.
Ms. Payden is the daughter of Sandra and Jerry Whitt and Robert and Karen Payden, all of Tulsa, Okla. She graduated from Edison High School in Tulsa in 1990 and earned a BS degree in nursing from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Okla. She currently is working at Moore Regional Hospital in the cardiovascular-thorasic intensive care unit and will be attending graduate school at the University of North Carolina beginning in the fall of 2003.
Wiedeman is the son of Johanna and Marty VanWinkle of Monmouth and Mike and Sandy Wiedeman of Enterprise and graduated from Enterprise High School in 1988. After spending 14 years stationed at Ft. Lewis, Wash., in the Second Battalion of the Rangers, he is currently stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.
The couple met during the spring of 2001 in Seattle while Shannon was doing a nurse travel contract. They will be making their home in Vass, N.C. after the honeymoon.
