JOSEPH – The Josephy Center for Arts and Culture will host Carl Rollyson, who is working on a biography of Hollywood actor and Wallowa County rancher Walter Brennan, at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 9.

Rollyson already has biographies of Marilyn Monroe, Norman Mailer, and Dana Andrews to his credit, and teaches the craft at New York University. Following a finger food potluck, Rollyson will discuss his research into Brennan’s New England roots and Hollywood career. Local family members, friends, and aficionados of the noted actor will also share their stories. The evening will end with video clips from Brennan’s career.

The event is free and open to the public.
