Lee Harrison Bundy, 90, of Lostine died June 23, 2011, at Wallowa Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 21, 1920, at Osakis, Minn., the son of Neil and Grace (Chapin) Bundy. 

He married his wife, Mary, Dec. 13, 1941, at Osakis, Minn.

He was an avid adventurer, hunter, fisherman and known as the “guru” of Lostine Canyon. He loved country music, dancing, telling stories, and  camping with hunting buddies and family. He loved to pick mushrooms and huckleberries.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, of their Lostine home; beloved companion, Susie; four children, Grace and husband Randy Cherry of Lostine, Carol Champlin of Bend, Susan and husband Punk Cooper, Toutle, Wash., and Neil and wife Pat Bundy of St. Helens; two sisters, Hazel Swedal of Long Prairie, Minn., and Carol Judkins of Fairview; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother David, sister Beulah, all of Minnesota; son Jim of St. Helens; and granddaughter Brenda Champin.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011, at the Lostine Cemetery, with a reception to follow at the Bundy Residence, 65049 Leaning Tree Road, Lostine.
