Mary Katherine Bork, 94, died March 14, 2003 at the Wallowa Valley Care Center in Enterprise. She was born April 18, 1908, at Spearfish, S. D., to Fred E. and Ella (Hardy) Goode.

Due to drought conditions in South Dakota, she moved to Wallowa County in the 1930s with her husband, Camille Lermeny, and their two children to a place on Upper Prairie Creek. After a divorce, she married Marvin Bork. She was a member of the Wallowa Christian Church, a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Enterprise VFW and was active in other civic organizations.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin, of Wallowa; a daughter, Blanche Maxwell of Lostine; sisters Oney Nuhn, Margaret Morris, Lois McCracken and Dorothy Robinson; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Private burial took place at Enterprise Cemetery. A memorial service is scheduled to be held Saturday, March 22, at 2 p.m. at Wallowa Christian Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice or to the Wallowa Valley Care Center, care of the Bollman Funeral Home.
