Obituary Anita van Grunsven

Anita D. Van Grunsven, 77, of Wallowa died on June 4, 2019 at Wallowa Memorial Hospital. Anita was born on September 24, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA. and attended high school and college there. After college she taught school for many years. She married Bob Evans after college. They had two boys, Matt and Dan Evans. Anita and Bob moved to Oregon in 1971 and divorced several years later. She married Ron Van Grunsven in 1984. She then went back to college and received a MBA from Portland State University. Later she was an accountant and office manager for a company in Portland, OR. Ron and Anita moved to Idaho in 2002 and later moved to Wallowa in 2016. Anita is survived by her husband, Ron and her two sons Matt Evans in Boston, MA and Dan Evans in Oslo, Norway. Also by two brothers, Bill DeMay in Arizona, and Tom DeMay in Colorado.

She enjoyed horseback riding and being in parades with her horses. She also enjoyed talking with her grandchildren.
