Roy Curtis Earhart, 54, of Las Vegas, Nev., died recently. He was born May 23, 1948 in Twin Falls, Ida.

After serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War, he was a senior mechanic for the Richard Petty Driving Experience in Las Vegas.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Maureen, of Las Vegas; son Burke Earhart of Minnesota; a daughter, Tracy Rosales, of Las Vegas; his mother, Dorthea Schaeffer Stephen of Walla Walla, Wash.; a brother, Carl Earhart of Portland; a sister, Freda Beer of Sutherlin; and two grandchildren. He was also the grandson of Roy Schaeffer.

Memorial services were held at the Las Vegas Speedway in the Richard Petty Media Room.
