Zane A. Gould, 60, died April 7, 2003, in Salem Hospital of heart failure. He was born August 8, 1942, in Portland.

Zane lived in the Weston-Pendleton area from 1957 until 1980, when he moved to Enterprise to be a resident of the Pioneer Guest Home. He loved the mountains and beauty of Enterprise and had wonderful caring people at his group home. He moved to Salem last year to be near his sister when his health began to fail. He had a happy disposition, loved going to Dairy Queen for ice cream and was often caught singing songs from the '50s.

Survivors include his sisters Sharlene Downs of Monmouth, Jennifer Kulm of Jerome, Idaho, and Zella Lieuallen of Salem. He was preceded in death by his parents in 1994 and a brother, Neil Gould, in 1993.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Guest Home. Arrangements are being done by the Bollman Funeral Home of Dallas.
