On Friday I made my first trip to a state wrestling tournament and boy was it an exhilarating experience. I was introduced to a new aspect in my sporting journey that I neither expected or wouldn't mind revisiting. I was surrounded by probably 80 percent of the opposite sex, but it didn't bother me because in my profession that happens. I was amazed by the amounts of testosterone that flowed through the walls of the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem.

I thoroughly enjoyed the level of intensity each individual wrestler, coach, fan and team brought to the arena for two days.
