I applaud the leadership in Wallowa and Union counties for securing the $2.1 Million dollars to temporarily store rail cars for Union Pacific Railroad. Whether we are in tough economic times or not...I believe this is a great deal that will ultimately lead to improved infrastructure and increasing future potential for all parties involved.

For the folks who have lost their "view" or lost "property value" because of the presence of these railcars near their property, I have a question for you.? At what point when you purchased or built your home did you not notice the railroad tracks?
