Dear Editor,

Recently I had the opportunity to meet and debate with Sen. Jeff MerkleyÂ’s health care policy advisor. Going into the meeting, I knew that we would vastly disagree on our ideas of government-funded health care. Senator MerkleyÂ’s advisor said that the Senator is extremely supportive of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, because too many Americans have gone without health insurance for far too long.
