My name is Matthew Harris. I'm a senior at Wallowa High School. For my senior project, I began a can collection business.

I ride my three-wheel adult trike around town and gather cans. While I'm doing this, I also pick up trash and recyclable items.

Currently, I have to ride my bike several miles out of town to the Transfer Station to drop off the recycled paper and items. It is dangerous for me to ride on the highway and it makes me nervous.

I feel we should move the recycling bins into town. I believe this would help many people in Wallowa become more involved in recycling.

People would not have to drive or ride as far out of town. It would make it more convenient and easier to access if it were located in downtown Wallowa.

We could keep our town cleaner and become a green community.

Let's get together and support moving Wallowa's recycling to town.
