On Monday night, Sgt. John Campbell of the Wallowa County Sheriff's Office, gave an interesting presentation on a frightening topic: methamphetamine in Wallowa County.

He brought all the supplies needed (except one), which were purchased in local stores that day. Much of the time was spent answering questions from the audience. The audience was full of questions and Sgt. Campbell patiently answered them. Meth is a highly addictive drug, which is more prevalent than many people realize. The purpose of the program was to educate citizens to be able to recognize meth production and meth users. Thank you, Sgt. Campbell, for educating us and for your efforts to make this a better and safer community for all. Your job is not easy or fun.
