Congratulations to the Wallowa Football Team. It has been amazing watching this group of kids work together each year with a goal of “making state playoffs.”

Wallowa football players invested a great deal of time in daily practice striving for a goal. Rain or sun, they were out there doing your best.

The coaching staff put in long hours above and beyond to produce such fine players who stand out in so many ways. Our school was lucky to have such a coaching staff headed up by Matt Brockamp who always put in time-and-a-half for these kids.

Not only were skills in football emphasized but also important life skills such as a sense of community, treating others with respect, striving for a goal, sportsmanship, discipline and leadership skills.

Players and coaches have given Wallowa football fans a treat each week as we came together to cheer our boys on.

Thank you for a job well done.

Dennis and Marcie Sheehy
