The Wallowa County Noxious Weed Levy is on the May 2023 ballot for voter approval. I encourage everyone to vote "yes" on continuation of the levy, as it is a small price to pay for a great benefit to the county.

As a livestock producer and land manager, I appreciate all of the support that is available in Wallowa County to keep our natural resources healthy and intact. The Noxious Weed Levy is a commitment by citizens that ensures a base budget for the county Vegetation Department with a huge multiplier effect, including but not limited to: staff for  strategic planning and fieldwork, the cost-share program, education and outreach, and partnerships with local and regional organizations and other resource management agencies.
