The Lady Cougs traveled to Prairie City on Friday to face the Panthers. Wallowa won the match in four games 24-26, 25-11, 26-24 and 25-12. WHS served 93/96 for 96% as a team for the match. Serving leaders for Wallowa at 100% accuracy were Megan McLain 20/20, Chelsie Frei 14/14 and Amber Josi 8/8. Katie Sturtevant continued her superior play serving 26/28 including six aces. Wendy Spaur and Lynique Oveson also had a good day from the service line serving 14/15 and 10/11 respectively. Wallowa had a good day hitting with 87% for the match. Oveson was the leading hitter with 33/34 including 14 kills for 97%. Following close behind was McLain 24/25 including 16 kills for 96%, Sturtevant 17/19 including eight kills and Spaur hitting 14/17 with five kills. McLain had eight solo blocks in the match.
