With strong scoring efforts from Grady Rawls and Tim Gilbert, the Enterprise boys won the consolation game in the Oregon Trail Classic tournament in Pendleton Saturday, 53-40 over Santiam.

The teams were tied 8-8 after the first quarter, but Enterprise won the second period 17-13 and the third 15-3. Gilbert put up six of his 14 points in the second quarter and Rawls, who scored a game high 18, scored four points in each of the first three periods.

Santiam got 14 points from Jered Moberg, but his 3-point shot (one of four in the game) was the only scoring in the third period. Trailing 40-24,

Santiam made a fourth quarter run, but it was too-little, too-late.

Enterprise had a strong effort from the free throw line, hitting 17-of-24 shots, 10-of-13 in the fourth quarter.
