Tuesday saw the first win for the first year of Enterprise-Joseph softball, with the E-Js defeating the La Grande JV 14-12.

Up 6-3 in the third inning, Enterprise-Joseph charged out to a 13-3 lead in the fourth and then held off a battling La Grange JV for the win.

It was freshman Theresa Stangel's first full game in the circle, striking out three batters and walking eight.

At the plate, catcher Brooke Moncrief led E-J batters, going 4-for-5 with 2 RBIs, and scoring three runs. Sara Averbeck was 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs.
