The Enterprise volleyball team traveled to John Day for a 12-team event Saturday. The Outlaws fell to host team and Wapiti League foe Grant Union, 25-12 and 25-17.

Participants included host Grant Union and their JV teams, Grant County 1A teams Monument/Dayville and Prairie City, 3A Burns, 2A Weston-McEwen, 2A Heppner, 2A Pilot Rock, 1A Crane, 1A Powder Valley and 1A Jordan Valley.

The Prospectors defeated Burns in three sets in the tournament’s championship match.

The Outlaws’ next match is set for 5 p.m. Thursday at Wallowa. It will be the Cougars’ first match of the season.
