Hardy fisherfolk were plentiful on Wallowa Lake during a wet and cold Memorial Day weekend. This fisherman casts a line near the foot of the lake Monday afternoon. There were lots of kokanee fishermen out on the lake throughout the weekend, chasing another world record kokanee. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife  stocked the lake with large rainbow trout last week.
