Fish & Wildlife seek tips on kill

Oregon State Police (OSP) Fish & Wildlife Division troopers are asking for the public's help to identify the person(s) responsible for the unlawful take of a bull elk and a cow elk shot and wasted in Wallowa County.

A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by the Oregon Hunters Association Turn in Poacher (TIP) reward program for information leading to an arrest in this case.

Preliminary investigation by OSP Senior Trooper Kreg Coggins indicates the crime happened on or about May 14, 2009 on Zumwalt Road between Tippett Corrals and Bloodsworth Ranch.

Anyone with information is asked to call the TIP (Turn in Poacher) line at 1-800-452-7888.
