The Northeast Oregon Wrestling Club had an intersquad wrestling meet for some of its younger wrestlers on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, at the sports complex behind Safeway in Enterprise. It was an opportunity for some of the younger wrestler who got limited — if any — time on the mat in tournaments to get some more experience with parents watching. Overall, the club had about 50 youth between the ages of 5 and 12 registered this fall. The young wrestlers also had an opportunity to see high-level wrestling as former Enterprise High School standout and current collegiate wrestler, Trace Evans, wrestled against high school and club assistant coach Nick Ripsom. Evans earned a 6-2 decision in the match.
