ENTERPRISE — The Northeast Oregon Wrestling Club based in Wallowa County will again host a Youth Wrestling Club.

This is open to boys and girls in the county from ages 5 to 14. There will be five different level pairings: ages 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14 for tournament competition. This will be the 16th year as a competing club.

Wrestling practices will be held at the Sports Complex behind Safeway on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. The kids will be taught basic techniques in wrestling, so they will be able to compete in tournaments if they wish to.

There will be a parent information meeting at the Sports Complex on Thursday, Oct. 14, at 6 p.m. This meeting is not mandatory. Kids do not need to attend this meeting. Anyone not able to attend this meeting can be caught up at the first practice, which will be Tuesday, Oct. 19 at the complex.

All are urged to come and meet the coaches. Any questions can be answered at the parent meeting on the 14th, or by calling coach Troy Farwell at 541-263-1555.
