EUGENE — Day one of the 2A state track and field competition was quiet for the team of Enterprise/Wallowa with just one student athlete competing in the confines of Hayward Field.

Outlaw sophomore Nevaeh James placed eighth in the long jump competition with a distance of 14 feet, 8.5 inches.
