Local youngsters are invited to attend summer volleyball camps.
Enterprise High School will host a clinic for junior high players. For three days, from July 15 through 17, varsity coach Amy Stangel and her players will teach the basics: setting, hitting, blocking, digging and serving. Including practices and games, the sessions are scheduled to run from 4 to 8 p.m. each night. The camp fee is $40.
Because Quinn Court at Enterprise High is undergoing construction over the summer, the camp's dates and locations are subject to change.
A month later, All American Volleyball Camps Inc. of Portland will come to Joseph High School. The clinic, slated to take place Aug. 14 through 16, is open to high school players around the county. For $141, local participants will learn game tips and strategies from collegiate players.
For the latest updates or more information on both opportunities, call Amy Stangel at 263-0088.
